We have found a translator who can speak in the very rare dialect of Acholi and Luo! Thank god for Grace. Grace is from South Sudan (Juba) and currently lives in Melbourne, Australia. We are very thankful to have her expertise and now we are moving one step closer to completing our film.
It is exciting times and understanding every word of our interviewees from Uganda is amazing. We knew the stories were good, but what is being fully translated is heart-rending.
I thank you to all the beautiful people in Northern Uganda who shared their stories and horrific past experiences with me, and with the world.
