BBQ for a Bike

I am planning a spring charity event on the Yarra River... I need to raise 300 bicycles and parts for the Internal Refugees in the Camps in Northern Uganda, and also for aboriginal and isolated communities in central Australia. I am thinking of doing a BBQ for a Bike Day, with live music, African drumming, a free BBQ and in return I'd like people to bring down their old bikes, parts, accessories or other donations.
